Judge Cynthia Welty

Judge Cynthia Ann Welty has a diverse educational and professional background. She began her career in nursing, earning an LPN in 1982 and an RN in 1989. She later transitioned to law, obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in General Studies in 1999 and a Juris Doctor in 2001 from the University of Toledo. Her legal experience includes practicing law, teaching criminal justice, and serving as a magistrate and judge in various courts in Sandusky County, Ohio.

Currently, she is the elected judge for the Sandusky County Court and runs the HOPE Court, a specialized docket focused on addiction recovery. She resides in Clyde, Ohio, with her family and she enjoys reading and traveling.
